About Me

Sports Massage and Therapeutic Massage Therapy

I have been practicing since 2004 as a qualified Massage therapist with the Massage Therapy Institute (MTI). In 2006, I completed my Sports Massage therapy Level 3 Diploma with the Vocational Training Charitable Trust (VTCT - IIST).

The first treatment includes a full consultation to enable me to tailor the treatment to the individual needs of the client. As I work with the client towards their desired goals this can include postural advice, best practice ideas, heightening self awareness along with stretching and strengthening exercises.

My clients can vary from those suffering from day to day aches and pains, semi-professional sports people, disabled clients and patients with acute injuries.

I posses the Football Association level 3 Certificate of Treatment & Management of Injuries in football. I have been fortunate to optimise these skills with various clubs in Norfolk and Suffolk, most notably Kirkley and Pakefield Football Club of the Ridgeons Premier League in previous years.

I am a fully licenced and certified Practitioner and Coach having undertaken full one to one training with John Plester and the society of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. They provide the most comprehensive training in the world and the certificate has been personally signed by the co-creator of NLP Dr Richard Bandler. This is complimented with my Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training which allows me to advise clients on ways to improve lifestyle and wellbeing.

Experience and Philosophy

I have been providing Sports and Holistic Massage treatment at the warm and professional setting of Anglia Chiropractic Healthcare on Wroxham Road in Norwich for over ten years.  I offer a private Massage service in Norwich and Norfolk, which is usually for clients who cannot access the clinic or would rather I visit them in the comfort of their own home.

In recent years, I have provided Massage at local sporting events and these include the Norwich Half marathon, local cycling events and the Norwich Triathlon.

Fundamental to my business philosophy is trust. I pride myself on providing honest, impartial advice to all my clients at all times and this is supported by the comments and recommendations I have received.

My drive does not stem from profit, but from a genuine desire to give people relief from injury (sports related or otherwise), aches and pains or from the daily grind of life.

Clients can rest assured I will only recommend treatment that is appropriate to the individual and the injury or problem whether it be a prolonged course of sports therapy, or just a thirty minute massage for a bit of much needed TLC......
