I am currently studying a Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training at Norwich City College. This will give me a first stage teaching qualification and I will apply the skills in the field of Massage. This course works in tandem with me assisting the teaching alongside Kit Adam at the Massage Training Institute (MTI) in Norwich for the Level 4 Diploma in Holistic Massage, Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology.
I am just over half way through the course which involves learning the role and the responsibilities of a Tutor. This includes aspects such as;
Legislation, equality, diversity, inclusivity and meeting the needs of learners.
Initial, diagnostic assessments and to plan / deliver inclusive teaching and learning
Able to assess learning and use appropriate resources to support effective learning
Using these skills are excellent ways to re-inforce my existing practices and philosophies into my Sports Massage, holistic Massage and NLP work.
